Kamal's Java Page

Well, I guess to call this a page about Java may be a little misleading. All that you will find here is some stuff, useful or otherwise, that I have come up with using the Java programming language.  As you will see, at the moment, the list of stuff is a very short one.

In any case, do feel free to try whatever you find here.

Something new…

I’ve recently been playing around with a bit of robotics. Nothing fancy, just hooking up a few LEDs and motors to the PC parallel port via a simple switching circuit. GumBot (GUi Manipulation of roBOTs) is an application (working, but still a work in progress) to allow the user to control the behaviour of a model or robot without having to go through the trouble of writing code for it. He/she would instead do so by simply drawing block diagrams. More on GumBot here. 

 

Pokermi

Pokermi is a program that let's you play poker against your computer and/or against other players over a network or the internet. It is still a work in progress and I will (hopefully) from time to time be adding new features and fixes for bugs as I come across them. New in version 1.2 is the addition of another game - the Chinese card game Big 2, some changes in appearance as well as bug fixes.
 

To install, just download the zip file from the link below, and extract its contents into one directory . To play, run the batch file "runpoker.bat". Just so I'm covered, please read and understand the following License Agreement before downloading:
